Hey everyone,

And then to some hot news : I will make a new track together with Airwave, which might be out pretty soon... More news on this coming in a few weeks.

it’s been too long since I’ve put an update on my site, I know :/

First of all, here are some pics of my Fire & Ice set together with Airwave on the massive Supersonic Festival in September :

On to some other news :

Available now : the follow up compilation on the highly successfull Bonzai Allstars Megamix 1.
No 2 in the series again contains some of the best Bonzai and Bonzai-related tracks of the 90’s, bringing back all those memories.
On this cd you’ll find a track I made over 10 years ago together with my Energy Source studiobuddy Dimitri Dewever.
Under the alias Captain Kirk we used to make some jumpstyle/hardtrance tracks, which had some success in Belgium, Holland, Spain,... “Your Son Is Dead”, containing the sample of “Jesus Loves The Acid” is included in the mix. So check it out at your local recordstore!!

- So finally a small new update on this site :) After a short holiday, we’re back for some gigs and new music :)

- First of all, there’s the Bonzai Area at the Last World Festival, Lommel, Belgium at which I will be performing. You can expect a mindblowing Fire & Ice exclusive dj-set. Be there early!

- I’m working on some solomaterial, which will be something different. More info after the summer :)

- First of all, thanks to the people that attented the Bonzai Area at the sold out Daydream Festival in Mol, Belgium on the 16th of April :) Maybe we’ll be there again next year...

- Next gig coming up is Breydelicious, a yearly classics night held in a small venue in Sint-Gillis-Waas, Belgiuml. This year it will include me and Youri Parker as guest-dj’s. I’ll be playing from 23.30h till 0.30h. Hope to see you all there!

- I’ve finished a remix for Yves Deruyter’s classic “The Rebel”. Don’t know if it will be released yet, but you can listen to a snippet on my Dj Fire page on Facebook :

- First of all, my remix for Airwave’s classic Above The Sky is available now on all known downloadportals such as Trackitdown, Juno, Beatport and off course I-Tunes (unfortunately on I-Tunes only available as Album Only).

- My remixes seem to be doing pretty ok... Since I’ve started doing my remixes solo (I used to work together for all my remixes with Airwave), I’m gradually starting to improve my skills. In the Belgian I-Tunes store my remix for Tiesto’s The Tube shows to be the most popular, while my remix for Airwave is also with the most popular remixes so far in the R3mixed-series. Thanks to all the fans!!

- Finally coming out on the 15th of December : the brand new Dj Fire called “Under Pressure”. You’ve had the opportunity to listen to snippets of both mixes for quite a while now, now it’s time to add it to your musiclibrary! More info on downloadlinks for the onlineshops soon...

- Fire has just finished remixing a classic track by Yves Deruyter called “Infinity”. This “Dj Fire’s Pumped Remix” will probably be on release in a while from now. This is once again a soloproduction, more stuff on the way

- Banshee Worx has requested Dj Fire to make a follow-up on the succesfull Dj Mixsession 05 which was released earlier in 2009. The new one is in the making and will contain some new and exclusive stuff! Release will be in 2010 we suppose...

Here’s some news for the weeks to come :

- Dj Fire has finished 2 different mixes for Laurent Wéry’s new clubhit “On The Dancefloor”. Release soon on the label “La Musique Du Beau Monde”! The “St. Tropez Remix” is already featured as a small loop on the startpage, check out the audioplayer at the bottom of the startpage!!

Dj Fire has been booked as a guest in the brand new Extreme club in Lokeren,next to Cherrymoon. Partypeople from the early 90’s might remember that Extreme was THE place to be on Mondays. The club was located in Affligem back then. It will now re-open in the beginning of September. Fire will be playing on Saturday the 7th of November, so make sure you don’t miss this!

Dj Fire is currently working on a remix for the up and coming release of Belgium’s most popular dj in the “more commercial” circuit : Laurent Wéry. Track is called “On The Dancefloor” and will be the follow up for the highly succesfull “Looking At Me”. Expect something different!

Dj Fire has just finished a mix for French Podcast “In My Electro”. News on airtime and tracklist will follow soon.

There’s also a new top 10 coming up in a week or so.

Dj Fire has made an unofficial remake of Madonna’s “Miles Away”. Great reactions so far, no reaction from Madonna up till now. Who knows?

First of all thanks for all the reactions on the dj set in Illusion, really nice! A few pics of the evening in the pics section.

We’re still looking for a good remixer for the up and coming Dj Fire release “Under Pressure”. More news on that soon.

And Fire has already been booked for 2 gigs in the coming months : he will be playing at the Backstage of La Rocca at Papaya on the 11th of July and at Cherrymoon Beach in Hangar 1 in Ostend on the 15th of August. Hope to c u all there!
